also, if you're not riding/unloading it till you get here you might consider drastically loweringyour tire pressures so you can get it in the bed straight and having more usable room to pack.....don't let out so much air that the beads unseat during the trip, unless you have access to an air compressor before you take it off the truck....or you can come out to the house and i'll help you get the beads re-seated.

I've seen a few post on these. Can't remember where but it was all good stuff. One was a truck that flipped and the bike was still attached to the hitch.

What kind of truck are you driving. I'm working here in Georgia currently and passed a black truck with Texas plates hauling two bikes. Just wondering if it was the famous MH guys.
