Sweet Ill take a look. the only problem I am seeing so far is that...there arent many Bluetooth MP3 players which would kinda defeat the purpose. As for riding with another person (wife) with the helemts that makes sense. SAT Rsdio looks good, but WTF. Why cant they just stick an 1/8 input jack in the helmet for MP3? Wireless makes sense though. need to find a bluetooth MP3 player. Will update.

I know peeps who load up their cellphones with music and bluetooth it that way. Of course, your phone would have to have some sort of memory slot to have enough space to host your MP3 files and such.

The Motorola RAZR V3i comes to mind.

What earbuds do you use hazard? I haven't found any that will stay put when putting my helmet on.

It shouldn't cause any problems. Your bluetooth device will "fall back" to whatever is the lower standard between the receiver and the transmitter. The main difference between lower and higher bluetooth version's is that the higher versions will pass data at a higher rate. A bluetooth version 1.2 can easily stream music with no problems. Hope that helps.

In other words, all bluetooth devices are backwards compatible.

I've got an Insignia (best buy brand) MP3 that has built in Bluetooth paired to some Insignia bluetooth headphones. Works great except the bluetooth uses up the batt quickly on the player.
