My RX-7 isn't that loud. I have fairly large ears that seal against the helmt pretty well though. I like Sharks, but that chinbar design weirds me out.

That's about the only thing bad I can say about them. The quality looks top notch on all the Sharks I've ever seen, and it gets great reviews from every owner I've seen as well. The prices are MORE than reasonable for a helmet that seems to be so good. I may need to go try one out, though I love me an Arai.

Too bad you have such a tiny head or you could rock mine for a while to see if you dig it.
My only complaint is the RSI doesn't breath incredibly well. It has some good airflow, but could use more adjustable vents for days when it is hotter.
However, they are designed for track lids primarily.......so the little less airflow isn't that big of a deal on the track.

Just bought an RSI online ($150), hoping it fits right when it comes. My HJC cl15 is a large, but my old KBC VR1 was an XL. According to their size chart I should be a large, but we shall see.

Just got my delivery, and it is sweet! Fits like it was custom made for my head, and the finish and quality seams first rate. Haven't ridden with it yet so I'll post up my thoughts on that later.

I had never been a big fan of the Shark designs, but that is one sweet lid bro! I still love my X11 though. The ventilation is great and the noise really isn't that bad. It's SUPER quiet with the vents closed. How is the aftermarket support for it? I can go to any bike shop and buy stuff for my Shoei.

Well I rode to wotk this morning (hoping it doesn't rain this afternoon), so I've got a small impression of the helmet.

Plus: The helmet was MUCH quieter as far as wind noise (got up to ~85mph), but I could hear the engine much better. My head felt very stable, even if I turned to the side at high speed. The ventilation was GREAT, much better than my HJC. I also really like the strap retention tab thing they have. I had no fogging issues, but we'll see how that goes as the weather changes.

Minus: It didn't "feel" like the helmet came down as far under my chin as previous helmets, but when I would look in the mirror or reach up and check it, it seemed to cover as much or more. Probably just need to get use to the feel. It was a tight squeeze getting my glasses on and comfortable because of how snug the pads are to the sides of the head/face.

Overall: Awesome. I don't see how you could get a better helmet for $150. I would definately get another one. The fact that it comes with a 5 year warranty is a plus as well.
