Forest Gnome Ride 5/17/09

Late notice, but I need to get out for a stroll.

Usual Forest Gnome rules/route applies.

Where: PP69

When: Sunday KSU 10am; mandatory rider meeting at 945 for those whom haven't ridden with FG's before.

Gear: Require helmet, jacket. Highly recommend boots, gloves and knee protection

We will have Leaders/sweepers for the ride following RoadKing rules w designated speeds depending on the group. This ride is designed for any experience level and adjusts accordingly. If you are a newer rider be sure to contact us before signing up and letting us know what your experience is so we can offer general precautionary recommendations before KSU.

No one will be left behind.

I will be bringing the cameras.

1. Cali

This Gnome ride business full of twisties and turnies? Action, adventure and high stakes?

And what are the 'rules'? Only rules I've ever heard of was riding The Pace...

This Gnome ride business full of twisties and turnies? Action, adventure and high stakes?

And what are the 'rules'? Only rules I've ever heard of was riding The Pace...
Meeting at the shell/mcd's at i45/242 NE corner.

KSU means that's when we are leaving, period. Be there early.

Of the area, this is the ride w the most amount of twisties/turns etc per mile.

As for action, adventure and highstakes these aren't roads to play around on. We are still about 1:1 for rides/crashes even at slower paces. Riders have passed on these roads. What the labeled "Forest Gnome" rides offer is a Road-King styled ride(group riding recommendations from MSF courses) w designated leaders/sweepers that will not break their speed set before the ride. Its not a 'keep up with me' sport bike ride. There may be different groups for 3090 but we recommend you stay w the last group on your first ride.

Drop the ego at the door, we dont appreciate it on this ride. There will be track riders and new riders on this ride, no one will impress us. We are busy riding our bikes so ride your own bike and respectfully w the people around us.

If you can make it, we'd love to have you along.
