suspension tuning

i DID search, and i see that Motorcycles Unlimited does tuning.

i'm up in tomball, so the drive aint bad. i do have a few questions though about the process, since i've NEVER had this done.

1) how much is it?
2) how long does it take?
3) do i need to be there? or can i drop it off and go grab something to eat or something?
4) is Motorcycles Unlimited the best place on the north side to take it?
5) is there anything else i need to know/bring/expect/ask/etc?

thanks y'all.

All good answers.

For #5, they will ask what type of riding you plan to do. Street, Track, or something in between. If you are a spirited street rider, go ahead and get the track setup.

It's good to call in advance, just in case. They can get a little busy during the popular times. 281 444 0545

How are they with old school bikes? I'm building a vintage roadracer that I'd like someone who knows what they are doing to do final tune on the suspension and dyno the motor after I've abused it.

I rode from ClearLake to do this. YES, it's worth it.

Depending on how much you weigh and how hard you ride, you'll be very suprised at the difference.

Its worth it!!! My suspension is wack but with the lil bit that we/Motorcycles Unlimited did to it, it made a huge difference. Well worth it. If you can learn how to do it that's where the money is. After I replace the need parts it should be a beast...

very worth it. I drive about 2.5 hours or so to them regularly, it seems lately, to have them tune my suspension. I let 1 other guy touch it once and i learned the hard way- i crashed. never again.

This is one of the most important things you should do to your bike. I don't know why it is so often overlooked. It will make a night and day difference in your bike. It is worth the drive, no matter how far, to get this done.

No one set's it up better than the boys at Motorcycles Unlimited.
