if you can ever make it out to sealy i might go with you.....i managed a 10.9 first time ever dragging a bike on my 10r set up the way i ride it on the street and with my 250lb a$$ on it.....it's a quick rush, but it was fun for $20....in 3 hours i think i made 8 passes or so.....with the way the line was moving I probably could have made 15 - 20 passes, but we we're chilling out and bullshitting in between runs....

Comparing the azz in the crowds is the dumbest I have heard. Its guys that drag the there anyway. They dont know what the its about. , they cant even see most of the road race.

Ill roll with you. I havent gotten full leathers yet, but HMP is ok with jacket pants and boots that cover your ankle. I had to ride out to San Antonio to run my bike in the 1/4. I havent done a lot of drag racing on my bike, so Im having a lot of fun with it. My best is 11.4 @ 120 on my Triple.

They will both work well on your bike. The Brock's does have map support where you will have to custom map the Muzzy's. The $165 price difference is easily justified by map support.

little info on the Sealy type race

Hurricane Alley puts on motorcycle drag races. We throw in some cars for a part of the event just to give spectators some variety. This past weekend, although they were rained out, ,there was to be cars against cars 4-10pm. , there were seven just bikes against bike classes each day, 11am until they finish. Three more bike only classes were to be held in that rained out 4-10pm slot

We are probably the only series in the country that added STOCK ET as a regular class. It's meant to be a fun inexpensive race for little or no experience and stock bikes. Only non-OEM exhaust and lowered is allowed. Even swingarm extensions are prohibited. Times varied but most were 11-17 seconds. Reaction times were mostly .15x to .4xx. I've seen it won by a mid 70s Honda 400 at San Antonio! This weekends winner ran a 13.79 with a .3194 reaction time in the final heat.

Super Sport currently is heads up, but 1000cc or less. No airshifters allowed in either of these classes. When we tried just 600s we had only a few poeple, so shifted to this.

Stock Et had $100 to win with an entry of $15, and Super sport was $10 with just trophies unless 12 entries showed up. Not much different in cost than a test and tune night and we threw in a Stunt Show on Sunday too.

It's just another type of motorcycle event. Much of it is purposely planned for the non-dragracer that just wants to see or try something different.

I've done the rd racing tracks, but I CHOSE to drag race instead....

Hurricane Alley Racing is the best series of drag racing events that we have here in Houston. Stiff competition and easy to understand rules for new comers to get their beeks wet.

I've been drag racing about a yr now, and I love it, and won't let ANYBODY riding the circle tracks tell me shyt. I've pretty much conquered them both and have CHOSE the one I want to invest my full time and attention into. IMO

da haters!!!

Since you have failed to race me and WIN, conquered is the perfect word!

I've tried em both, that was the goal, and I succeeded, so hence I conquered. I chose the one i like best to proceed with. What's the big deal?
