You sound like you would vote against dodgeball in school for fear of making some little feel like a loser.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I didn't "settle" for 12s, thats all the truck had in it. It was a fairly stock, daily driven truck. Skill might have shaved a tenth or two, but what it needed was money. Which is completely different from roadracing. When someone beats me on the roadcourse, its their skill thats winning. In a drag race......its someone's wallet.

e-fan? Didn't they all come with electric fans?

Btw folks, 12's can be 12.9s as easily as 12.1s.

Either way, a lightning with the mods he says it has was more than likely indeed in the 12s.

No sir, Lightnings (actually all 99-04 F series) have a standard clutch fan as stock. In fact, I think that is still in my attic somewhere.....

I think it should have, personally. Ford seemed to think it was still a truck

I just afro'ed a '02 GT fan I bought off ebay to fit in the standard shroud. 50k miles and I think I blew one fuse, and maybe shorted out the controller with a pressure washer once. Worked great!

There's a little skill in drag racing. However, in my opinoin, most people run out of horsepower to go faster before skill. On the roadcourse its the opposite.
