Yeah cuz they wont give you the time of day over the phone and a made a trip to my forth dealership just thought Mh would have some pull guess not. Also doubt Highly the dealership is only pulling 2g profit on these so they cost you 10,399?

i still call bs on that price. 600 cc bikes are priced at 10500 aprox. no way in they are letting the brand new hot r1 go for cheaper than a 600. maybe a new r1 for that price but it is probably a leftover and has incentives on it.

....They are willing to drop the price on the 600 so your example is lacking a haggled down 600 price and at car dealerships if they sold a certain amount they get bonuses from the producers so they would be willing to sell cars for barely over it sometimes to hit that extra bonus

So in theory they may want to move a R1 to have higher sales Etc.... it doesnt seem like they are just flying off the shelves the one im lookin at has been here awhile. PLUS they might still be making 1 or 2k, oh and also theres a link to a 10750 one already in my post..... so yeah.....

I bought my ZX10 new with cash, my nephew bought his ZX6 new with cash, and I have been involved with sales to 3 other friends with cash. Every time (all different dealers, 3 different states), we were told there is a VERY small markup on bikes. They would move $500, that's it. I walked out of a few dealerships, and they just said "sorry, we wont make any money" and let me leave.

Tree is straight up, here. Customers come in the door ALL DAY LONG telling us some ridiculous quote they got on a new something. Of course, they have NOTHING written down. AND they never tell us which dealership gave us that "quote".

I guess they think, we are not going to call and confirm ANY quote a customer gives us? DUH!!

Don't even get me started on the idiots that come into the service department

I'm sorry, was I ranting?

Please excuse me, I have an OPEN HOUSE to run! See you, there!

I hate to say it, but cash doesn't get you as much as it used to. Most dealers would rather you finance because they make MORE money. All the people that think they got the best deal possible because they had cash need to consider that.

True, my buddy bought a 2008 superduty. He had the mony to pay cash but they gave him a better deal to finance it. so he made 4 payments and paid it off Work the system
