Those extra fees are BS!!! You dont have to pay them, but they are there so that they make profit on the bike.

It like me adding a wax job on a car and calling it a Sun Heat Protection Package and charging $500 for it. Same concept.

well thats just what he told me. if there is truth behind it is beyond me but i know they dont mark up there no 5% . theyd never make any money. in a bodyshop law states that they can mark up recycled/used parts 30 percent and new parts 50%.

There's no laws for mark up in used parts or new parts. I have seen a place selling a used part for $10 and another $100.

body shops not resale places. if a bodyshop buys a 100 part from a junk yard by law then cannot charge the customer more than 30% or 130 dollars for it. new parts or oem reproductions are 50%. and all these prices are based on dealer cost.

This is ridiculous lol... 200% mark up? LOL id be a making alot more money if that was the case. I am a salesperson at a dealership. And these throw down prices you find on the net are either 1 maybe 2 hundred dollars over invoice price. And nobody in Houston will match that. They would rather not sell the bike at all than to make $100 profit to the dealership.

Why are you making a thread, on MH, asking dealers to PM you thier best price for a bike?

If you want it, make 5 calls, to Yamaha dealerships in Houston and get it.

Be about it. Dont talk about it.

then you can tell us what you/ your dealer price is. what is invoice on the bikes you sell. i know you wont tell us what dealership you work at and i dont fault you for it either. will add validity to your statement though. i was just repeating what i was told.
