Dude, glad to hear you are okay. My wife and I were taking the kids to Spring for a soccer game and came up on the wreck. I was hoping for the best after seeing the back end of your bike...

Gear FTW
Thanks, Whoop, and Gig 'Em......FTAC '05

Def glad your okay bro. Might want to learn how to use both your brakes though in the future. I use both of mine all the time. Trust me, it'll get you out of jams.....

Sorry to hear about the incident. Did the doctors estimate and loss of mobility in the leg or restrictive movement? Best wishes on the scars being the only reminder and good healing.

Second, thanks for sharing with us. Experience from others had is a valuable tool for peeps to use on a forum. Put all the 'you shoulda' aside and focus on what happened and learn from it. Thank you for sharing with us.

Lastly, if this does go to court inform your lawyer this thread exists incase they recommend deleting it for whatever reason.

Result of crash, 120 stitches 60 inside 60 outside the knee, numerous road rash, basically trash bike (04 gixxer liter 2 month old candy blue paint, 6 inch extenstion with black powder coating). Thank , I was not squidding that day, and just think I was just going to the ATM to get my kid some cash to go to the mall!!

Now the lil twitt did have insurance so now its time for the lawyers to get involved, they will PAY. Police report cited her for unsafe driving 3 witness backed up my version of events so what now?

so your one of the first that it wasn't a hit and run. .

Thanks to the stupid 22yr old that really stopped.

I work in the insurance biz and have settled claims like this in the past.
Assuming your atty can get the other company to pay you he will take around a 30-40 percent fee of the settlement, unless you have agreed on a fixed fee. (not usual) If they have texas minimum limits that will be a maximum payout for injury of 20k. which will result in atty fees of 6500.00 of YOUR money just for sending some letters.
My experience in dealing with attys is to try and do it first on your own and use them as a last resort. You can print and send your own demand letters etc. If you got the other company to give you the 20k you could get another bike extra with the cash you would save.
any advice send me a PM. -Nick
