Went Down in Humble

So I have been riding 3 yrs now and my first real accident happens this past Saturday Coming down 1960 in between the Carwash and the Golden Corral and the Walmart I am doing about 50-60 miles an hr. 2 kids in a red honda civic think it would be a good idea to jump right in front of me and try to floor it....guess what, the f**** car stalls, I slam on the brakes I am on throw over the handle bars...MFERS!!! So after rolling and slide fast first about 150 feet. I jump up and I am . 3 people rush over out of their cars blocking traffic for me to get out of the road. Of course I am geared up helmet, gloves, jacket, boots etc. I am thinking I am fine just a little road rash until the paramedic shows up cuts my pants open and my knee is total blown open. Now I am really and at this time guess who rolls their over there asking am I ok.....you guess it the 22yr old **** who cut me off and says, I am sorry I thought I put a blinker on.....

Result of crash, 120 stitches 60 inside 60 outside the knee, numerous road rash, basically trash bike (04 gixxer liter 2 month old candy blue paint, 6 inch extenstion with black powder coating). Thank , I was not squidding that day, and just think I was just going to the ATM to get my kid some cash to go to the mall!!

Now the lil twitt did have insurance so now its time for the lawyers to get involved, they will PAY. Police report cited her for unsafe driving 3 witness backed up my version of events so what now?

You should learn how to do endos! Next time you wont go flying over the handlebars lol JK!

Man.... 120 stitches sounds narely!!! At least youre OK and it didnt turn out worse. IE get run over by a vehicle, or fly into the Honda.

Ok you slammed the brakes, endo'd & slid 150'+...and never contacted the car.

Glad you made it out ok, considering the damage you and the bike took, but might look at practicing quick stops & evasion some more.

I did that a couple weeks ago. Dude cut me off, it was either hit him or grab so much brake that I endo'd. I decided to take myself out, so I performed the latter. It was on the track, but same concept.

I by-pass that part of 1960. I live in Kingwood and take the side road next to walmart over to target. (don't remember the name) WAAYY to many A-holes on that little section of 1960 between walmart and 59. I've had my life flash before my eyes once or twice. Glad ur ok and I know exaclty what ur talkin about over there.

You're the accident I heard about! Somebody who works at the carwash was sure happy to tell me about it at a stoplight while I was riding down 1960.

Glad to hear you're okay.

I am SERIOUSLY glad that you are ok. I dont want to turn into one of the "despised" on MH. but yet again, another knee pad story. Sounds like, just maybe, you'd be just a bit rashed with knee pads, but your knees are fukked..at least for awhile.

Heal up quick!

glad your ok. but dude, they stopped. they had insurance. you have a police report and witnesses to back you up. this is way more than most of the accidents we hear about. and your ALIVE!! and not hurt too badly. no broken bones or missing arms/legs/fingers. i would say you are a lucky man.

You = failure to control speed. Even though you're in your lane, you are still responsible for your actions and what is in front of you.

What police report did they make? An accident report? They can easily fight it as well since no vehicle to vehicle contact was made. A good lawyer can turn it around on you. You were hauling and they were trying to leave the parking lot or whatever they were doing.
