Rplace/ LOST MSF paper

I had my Wallet stolen at the gym and inside was my MSF cert. how do you go about replacing it?

what good does an msf do? Don't you still need an M on your license?

Yes, you need the endorsement or they will fine you...no point in carrying it around with you. I think the only way to get another one is to retake the course?

you don't have to retake the course. you either call where you took it and get charged a fee for another or (i don't remember which one 100%) call DPS and get another copy and charged a fee.

Also if you do not have you M endorsement a lot of the municipalities have began towing the bike.

you would have to call the place where you took the class and hope they have it on record somewhere that you passed and are willing to remake your certificate.

You can have a Class A B or C license. Everything else is an endorsement.

I need it for insurance purposes. and so I can get a new sticker for Drivers license. I've had my M endorsement for years.

i was told they are different when i went in. and i got that 'your stupid' look for saying i needed to get my m endorsement. o-well.

Call the school you took it at. Be prepared to wait 4-6 weeks and pay a small fee.

And next time, make a copy if you want to carry it around with you.

Rodger that. Good thing i read this because i was about to call them today and ask what is taking them so long LOL. i didn't know it takes that long. i figured you could just "ctrl-F" in a spread sheet and fax over.

same thing happen to me, but it fell out of my pocket on the bike.

i called the place where i took the course
then had to contact some big wig in austin, and she mailed me a new one. they only have to verify that you were in the class.
