John Anderton seriously injured following high-speed late evening fall

IRISH RACER John Anderton from Antrim was fighting for his life last night after being involved in a high-speed practice crash yesterday, in preparation for this weekend's North West 200.
Sources say Anderton fell while exiting Station Corner heading towards Black's Bridge a section with an estimated top speed of 150mph. The incident occured at around 21:20 last night.

A spokesman at Causeway Hospital in Coleraine has described Anderton's condition as critical.

Mervyn Whyte, clerk of the course, said: A serious incident took place at this evening's practice session during the final 600cc qualifier. The rider has been taken to Coleraine Hospital and further updates will be issued in due course.

Send a message via AIM to RoadracerNC
I'd be into this sort of riding, if the terrain was a little more forgiving.

Reminds me of my "stupid" days in North Carolina.

I hope Anderton makes it out ok.
