WRONG! I took MSF and still failed the written portion cuz i didnt read the book before I took it. MSF didn't teach me EVERYthing I needed to know for the written...there were questions specific to the booklet

The only questions I had on my test that weren't covered in MSF were about carrying packages and group riding- only two.

pay 150 and save urself the trouble of wasting a whole day proving something you know u can do. is wasting a day worth saving 150? ur going to take the class anyways, then u dont need to take the riding test.

I would def take the MSF. It taught me several things that saved my while riding the street. Plus you get a cool certificate that negates the driving portion, counts for insurance discounts, and allows you to ride without a helmet (if you choose to, not that I recommend it).
