As of right now: not quite 3k.

Several different people with various degrees of experience, including my father who's been riding all his life. I'm now under the close supervision of 99 Chris (and I don't ride alone)

I'm still learning...and will be for the rest of my riding days.

I thought the track day organizations required either a Motorcycle License or the MSF course? Or was I hallucinating when I read that?

The lady told me that if you kill the bike, you auto fail. Both feet on the ground for 3 seconds at stop signs and look both ways (over do it). The place on House St. in Alvin was the least crowded that I could find. You still have to get here at like 7. They asigned me a time later in the afternoon so I left and came back. It's first come, first serve so if the time slots are filled up you go home... The bike has to be totally street legal. Bike and vehicle have to have current tags and insurance. It's a cake walk

I won't need to ..you already did! :p

And keep in mind when that happened, I had been riding a very short time and was flustered from riding in a group!

Also, if you had taken the class the written portion would have been a snap.

After the class, you'll be a better rider AND you'll get your 'M'

It's in the rules, never heard of it being enforced.

But I took the MSF course, meh..As the instructor actually said at the end of the day, "You are now qualified to ride through a parking lot at under 10 mph."

They say I have to take a motorcycle defensive driving course for my ticket. Does that mean msf or is it something different?

then you'll have to take the ERC (experienced rider course), most schools only offer it 1x a mon. and they don't always make......so get up on it.

I would ask to make sure though, that would suck if they make you take the harder to get into course. I would think most JP's won't know the difference anyways. But RacerX would probably know better than them or me
