Still the R6 followed by the GSXR than the R1.

Any bike can be a target though, a friend of mine had his beat up / trashed old 250 Ninja get stolen last week.
Best bet, don't park it outside unlocked, or uncovered, if you live in an apartment get a garage or a storage place.

, go in with a couple of your buddies and rent a 24 hour access place.

If you have to leave it outside, lock it, chain it if possible, cover it, install an alarm or Lojack. It sucks that we have to do this but theft is on the rise, mainly for parts either to repair their bike or to make money on E Bay.

I have a house with a garage and a monitored alarm system yet I still lock my bikes to the ground.

Years ago when I lived in a condo in New Orleans, I used to keep it in my bedroom at the foot of my bed.

red,
Typically when you install a pipe you should rejet. What bike do you have.

Paul,
I've seen some for $50.00 to $80.00 a month for a 8x10, less for a 5x8, if you split it with 1 or 2 budiies that's pretty cheap.

I disagree, on a carbed bike they are already set lean on the pilot and needle circuits from the factory. Adding a slip on will make it run leaner, not enougfh to hurt anything but it will have some laen surging issues at cruising RPM, throttle response won't be as good and it won't pull as hard on top.

Patrick
well patrick knows a hella lot more then me, but IMO the $ spent on exhaust/jets/tuning is not worth the $ of the little performance gains for a slip-on........

I rent a 18 x 50 for 150 a month, its on bay area blvd behind the mall, 24 hour access, gated and cameras and alarms, and I'll rent space for teh cheap to anyone on the list if interested. pm me. now that the jeeps are gone, I've got plenty of room. 20. a month would be fair I think. now if we could pack in about 100 bikes, I'll be baller in a short.
