RIDER DOWN @ TWS (Texas World Speedway)....!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!

Ok yall well as you know TWS (Texas World Speedway) was this past weekend everything was goin great until the session before lunch...!!!!RIDER DOWN!!!!

John Keene CMRA racer # 410 went down really bad between turn 6 and 7. He doesnt remember how it really happened but an instructor was behind him and explained it all. In the middle of the turn he started to get a bad head-shake which turned into a full tankslapper....It was so violent that his rear tire started to hop side to side...and then all of a sudden the front end tucked catapolting him 10-12 feet in the air.

The instructor said his bike his bike caught about 4 feet of air @ around 110-120 mph then flipping end over end a few times before barrel rolling off the track. John landed on his hip tearing his leathers in two along with smacking his head pretty bad aswell. He went to the hospital and luckaly walked away with a few stitch's in his chin, bruised bones on his right side and road rash on his leg

Not only is he a great friend of mine but he has been helping ppl out including me with his knowlege of motorcycle knowhow...LETS HELP HIM OUT!!!!

Lets see if we cant start a fund to help out our fellow rider

Thankyou,
Big Bird

Sorry to hear- glad he's okay.

To start an online raiser, you have to have a paypal account. I don't know the details- maybe you'll get a response in here.

Terrible news. I saw his brand new 09 zx6 was near demolished. Good luck on your mission to collect funds. My wallet just got hit hard from my own crash 2 weeks ago. And the one a few months before that one.

I need a bike fund too.
And while we are at it, Big Pat needs a bike fund, howard needs one, maxgs, hooligan, DC, April, Jimmy's Zx10, Andy, Gonzo...anyone else?

GL!

I feel for your friend dude...glad he is okay, but....

he's a racer, riding at the track, taking risks... not so sure what kind of financial support you will find from people who know the associated risks. Nobody offered up help fixing my stallion up after my get off. See what I'm saying?

+1.

IMO, if you can't afford to race and/or do trackdays, then you cant's afford it. Pretty simple.

If he has medical bills, it's sort of the same scenario. If you don't have the financial support (either personal wealth or insurance) all risks are on you.

But, I will send him my prayers and well wishes.

I was pitted next to him and his dad, nice guys. Glad he’s ok, that bike was wasted. What an awesome bike it was too. That thing was leaving my SV1000 in the dust on the straights.

, that bike took a fuggin beating! It was a sad sad sight.
Glad to hear he's gonna be alright though.
Gotta have a steering damper and adjust it accordingly.
I'd be a dead man if I didn't have one on my 10R.

09 ZX-6R trackbike with no insurance? Gotta pay to play
