Suprised he didn't push or scooter it to the line for a few more points. Can't wait for next week, Haga is bruised from teh bird strike, hope he's a slow healer. Just goes to show.............it ain't over til it's over, anything (bird strike?!?!?) can and will happen in WSBK.
Spies is a legend in the making
We watched it in HD big screen and to see him two wheel drift through the mari ... basa... (spelling ) was just incredible
Did you notice when he finished the second race and removed his helmet there wasn't a single bead of sweat or sign of exertion, this dude is cool as a cucumber

Another talked about point over here,
and another huge legion of new fans for the man was the way he handled the the running out of gas on the last corner situation.
No dramatics, no spitting the dummy, no temper tantrums,
compare that to Lorenzo's behaviour the other weekend!!

Spies is the real deal Jody I concur

That was bad and I jumped off the couch when he waved at him. Also I think that was at the fastest part of the track, around 199mph???

I have to agree....

When everything happened I thought to myself... he must be . Then when they put the camera on him... he just casually put the bike against the wall and climbed over. I was really impressed at the way he handled it. You know that had to be a tough one to take

Finally got the chance to finish watching the races last night. Race 1 was intense, especially all that crashing going into the hole shot. And then Ben Spies with his stoppies as he brakes into T1 I think it was....holy shiat!!! That announcer was hilarious!!! Sucked to see Ben with yet another sh*tty ending to what was almost his race. That's 3 times this season he should/could have had both races wrapped up?
