Pet peeve... bad information.

looks like the father/son bike hit them.... the third injury prolly laid over over clipped by the bike/riders that actually impacted the SUV.

Godspeed and good luck to the father.

That was the information we got from first responders at the scene. Sometimes they're a little busy

Saw this on the news last night! How very sad! RIP to the 13 year old boy!

I hope it was worth it. When will people learn to stop treating public roads like their personal race track? Prayers to the family and friends of the child!

No way to know if they were going at high speeds. Maybe it was lack of concentration, or rider inability. If I killed my son on a bike I'd rather be dead as well. RIP!

I live close to this... this is FM 2090, on the East side of HWY 59. The area in between Carol Ln and Joy Village Dr is a wide left hand sweeper if coming from 59, Speed limit is 45mph. I don't know the details but I have had numerous cars pull out into that curve while I was traveling it. So who knows what happened. My kids and I were at the local grocery store when all of the rescue services were headed there.

because a day at the track means to these people.....

.spend money to go RIDE?? lol are you kidding??

.having to abide by the rules..that I just PAID money for (when it should be opposite!)

. wearing outlandish things such as "safety gear".. or a "helmet". what vile products of government control!

.beer can be consumed at home, for the ultimate thrill ride!

. we can include our children in the FUN!

that is why morons like this don't go to the track. its not that they dont have time for it, or cant go...THEY DONT WANT TO GO.

now wait... we are attacking someone and we don't even know the real truth.
I see many bikes around here on a daily basis. (I live in Splendora- where this happened) from what I seen last night on fox it looked to be a sport bike.
To one side of this road there is an open field with animals, on the other side there are subdivisions so who knows... maybe someone pulled out in front of these guys, or maybe they were trying to keep from hitting a loose animal.
Yea, we did loose a child of the community and a father but that doesn't mean that these guys were riding above or beyond their limits.

just so i can say with CLARITY for others. i am in no way saying what i posted above specifically is targeting those that were in this specific accident, but stating as a whole, for many reasons why some people DONT GO to the track. using above accident as a reference, but i am in NO WAY saying this is specifically the reasons those were in the accident.

thx VMAXGIRL for reminding me that I may have needed to bring some clarity to my statement

sometimes i forget that. i am using them as a scenario for others, but not intending that any or all of the scenario is based off them.. ( like the fact that i do not know if beer was related or not specifically towards thier situation, just an example)
