Not an emergency at all. I haven't ridden in roughly 3 weeks since I wrecked. I finally took the time today and got the bike all straightened out, and I wanna ride a bit.

I know I CAN do that, but I don't feel like making a mess.

If you have time to lean (pun intended) you have time to clean. Depends on your desire to ride again homie. Bite the bullet and invest in some brake cleaner and a shop rag.

I haven't worked in 3 weeks, I''m doing anything I can on the absolute cheap. I had tried going to autoparts stores, but every hose I can find is too small.

sorry, If I was in town I'd run mine down and hook you up.

Front or rear? Front you can tie wrap the lever back for a day or so and sometimes the air will work it's way up...

Wouldn't even know where to look. I do my best to stay out of those places.

Front. There's wayyy too much air in there now. The lever is actually hard as a rock, and the brakes are locked up.

hmmm make sure you didn't get a rock or something between the lever and master. You can also take the lid off the master to relieve the pressure some

If you don't get it fixed by next Weds I'll run my bleeder down and see what we can see.

they have lots of stuff you may wanna head up there....they are open 24 hrs too so you can go tonight

Side note....my front brake gets a lil stiff from time to time and I'm thinking I need to bleed my brakes. Does that sound like the fix?

Couldn't hurt, plus you need to flush the fluid every couple years as it absorbs moisture and just gets dirty.

well I'm going to do it soon anyways b/c I need to swap out the front reservoir...the bracket on the bottom broke and have to buy a new one so will bleed the brakes then, just was hoping that that would fix the random stiffness

A small vacuum hose, the bleeder isn't that big. Should be able to find one at the local auto parts; they keep them in back on reels. 1/4 id or a little smaller.

They didn't have any. I had already bought 2 different sizes.

weird, the O'reilly's down the road usually has the smaller ones, or definately NAPA.

I need a short piece of 5/32 to do the pilot jet mod on my Ninja when I get home...

I prefer pink and purples. Any color pastel works too.
