Akrapovic Exhaust for 2009 CBR600RR

Adding Hexagonal Slip-On Exhaust System by Akrapovic to stock 2009 CBR600RR. Will any adjustments or mapping be needed for the fuel delivery systems?

Not necessary, but advised.

The FI bikes of today run slightly rich across the RPMs (for the most part) and can handle the added flow of a slip-on.

Good luck. Akra makes TOP notch stuff.

Email from Akrapovič:

Dear sir,

Our systems are designed to work properly on stock engine managment, so no changes are needed, this is your option or wish. All power measurements that we make are based on complete stock bikes.

Thank you for your question,

Best regards,
Akrapovič d.d.

I would still recommend a PC3 and tune.

Even on stock bikes, this can make a big difference in output and delivery. The difference is remarkable.
