this is a great idea, I would love to watch a track day event

I don't ride on the street anymore, but I understand that some of the best back roads around are in the area too. Crabb rd etc........

We've been trying to come up with something else for the weekend and this would be really great. We've thought about making it a Sportbike weekend, trying to get Moto related vendors, perhaps invite the stunters out to play on the skid pad, maybe a band in the eve. We're still brain stormin' on this one so who knows....................

Or possibly make it happen with a Texas Shootout Event. Tons of bikes and bike stuff going on out there anyways.

Can easily handle that and more. Hey Sol I'll be going out on Friday if you'd like to come check it out and ride give me a shout. Track is right on and temps in the upper 70's, most of the final construction should be completed as well.

288 south.........hmm might take me a day to get there then......lol Anything more central ? not even asking for Northside just closer to town really...I live way out in Tomball near Honea Egypt and 1488 / 2978 area. I would be bringing myself and 2 other riders one on this board and another who is not. And I havent been to any of Chris's meets yet so thats a +3 to his numbers.

only thing is that most meets are for MH members and usually outsiders show up and eat up the food or dont know how to behave.

the behavior part is mostly the problem becasue they dont know its a organized get-together with people who planned things out.

I'm sure with some planning we can figure a way to keep non members and freeloaders out. We have a manned gate on event days, so either a RSVP roster or list of screen names or something of that sort should help. On trackdays everyone signs in at the gate and gets a wrist band to signify paid rider or spectator. This setting will actually give you more control than a public park meet. You could even have the members donate for wrist bands to offset BBQ expence unless it Sol's treat or something. Anything I can do to help make it happen, let me know.
Anyone else like to come out on Friday for a look see and ride, guest fee is 150.00. Sol I've got yours if you can make it. (Is that blatant sucking up?)
