there are a few large parks that you can rent or reserve a canopy area that has a table and chairs. one on the west side past the belt and the other on the north side, again close to the beltway but they have BBQ pits already there.

We always have good Bar B Que meets at Bear Creek Park (War Memorial, NW Houston). Just a thought since it's a little more centrally located and has tons of parking/shade and room.

What about meeting in Conroe off the lake or something so we can hit some roads up at the same time?

LEts have a small one is March. Kind of a test BBQ. This way we can scope out Sabine Park and the pits there.

BYOMEAT.

I'm good for whenever.

Should probably have a poll soon, once you get more info.

Solracer, you guys are welcome to hold your BBQ at our Sat/Sun Longhorn trackday on July 8 & 9. We've got serious sun shades and a huge grill, propane burners for crawfish boilin', and lots of pit area. We can probably even arrange a track session for the members after lunch, get a few laps on the track at safe speed. If you're intersted, drop a line.

Buck
