what if, and this is only a what if, the person couldn't get out of his car to ask the yuppy biker to move his bike?

that's a "no parking" spot for a reason.

No cure for stupidity and unskilled drivers. Also no excuse for parking on sidewalks and handicapped spots. I can see it if it's your only transportation, but I rarely take the bike out on shopping trips.

<shrug> not nice, but I'll assume the M/C was the bigger in this case.

H/C spots are marked and put in certain locations for a reason, park your non/hc vehicle there are your own risk. Not really a M/C issue but more of simple jackass issue. If you're not handicapped, don't park in those spots or in a manner to cause more difficulties for those who need em.

Don't park in a handicap spot if you are not handicapped.

, I would have done the same thing to make a point. Funny.

Yea the handicap guy couldve just walked inside and asked the guy to move his bike. . . OH WAIT HE IS HANDICAPPED, who says he/she wasn't inside the van? The biker is a douche for parking next to a handicap spot and got what he deserved, BUT the handicapped person should've at least tried a bit more to prevent it.

like this happens at my store all the time, people park in the handicap spot and then an old lady or someone in a wheelchair has to park all the way across the parking lot and make their way inside. I can't stand people who think they are better than everyone else and deserve to park there. I typically refuse to serve them until they move their vehicle. F*cking pricks

Good for you .

I ask people to move when I see it. I wish more business would do what you do also.

as both a long time rider who is now terminally handicapped, I think everyone is at fault. my solution to anyone who parks in a handicapped spot is simple, they get to spend a day in my life-I get to pick the day-chemo days would be good. hey I have what I have and I'm ok with it.

I parked right next a police officer's Vulcan 1500 on the sidewalk at Wings and More last night, along with two other bikes. Sidewalk parking FTW! Handicap Zone parking FTL!

since you're blocking the entire sidewalk from wheelchair access and people access, isn't that worse than parking in a handicapped spot?

still at fault. if he had a handicapped plate he should have been parked correctly in the spot.

Wouldn't win in court. There is no good reason to park in the lines next to a van accessible handicapped spot. It is still considered parking in a handicapped spot. I don't think most people have sympathy for anyone who parks in handicapped spots. Take a look at the lines. If they are blue then do not park there.
