adjust chain?

i know its a very noob question but i have never worked on a bike....how do i tighten the chain? any help is greatly appreciated

On most bikes you loosen the axle nut and turn the chain adjusters until the proper amount of slack is in the chain. Make sure to use the alignment marks on the swing arm to make sure the wheel is straight. Then tighten the axle nut. You need to find out the specs for chain slack and axle nut torque

varies from bike to bike, but what he said^^^

best bet is to check your Owners Manual

I think that would be great. There isn't much for people in that area. If you got the space and time to help noobies out with the basic stuff then I think that's awesome!

Nice idea. Can we do such things here? Back in the Yankee states there are all kinds of restrictions, environmental restraints, taxation bs, etc., etc.

I've been thinking of opening the "On The Rocks Garage, Grill, and Bar" in my garage too, but the neon sign would be too long...and The Woman/Warden probably would not allow it.
