i suggest you ground it ALL OUT like you should, run new root pass, then ground it out the slag and do some hot passes,...then iwould truss the subframe out...i did this for juice i think... it's not hard at all

you can get a VIN reassigned to another frame. but you have to show the title to the VIN that is going to get reassigned. they asked about that when i did my fiddy. aftermarket frames have no VIN

Ya I have the title in my name for the frame thats on the bike. So I can reassign the vin to an aftermarket frame? You saying I can add a vin to an aftermarket frame or just buy another stocker and reassign a vin to the title?
