Previous owner?

I just bought a 00 SV650 to use as a track bike. I was removing the exhaust yesterday and on the fabricated exhaust bracket I saw, "David Nolden #711." I just thought I'd post here to let him know that the bike is still around. I had the best trackday to date at MSR on the 25th and the old dog didn't miss a beat (until the battery died). If anyone know David please let him know. I would also like to get some history from him if he cares to share.

Good guy, I haven't seen him riding at the track for a while though but I haven't been to any sprints this year either, just endurance and track days for me.
I am Tyler Durdin's bad attitude.

David isn't, or hasn't been racing this year. I saw him last year, but I can't remember where. He was riding on a endurance team of some sort.

Hey, this is David. If you want to know anything about the bike, you can email me at In the two years I raced that bike I probably had a wrench on every nut and bolt on it, except for engine internals.

Sorry to hear about the battery. At some point I did notice that the battery was being discharged between trackdays/race weekends so I always disconnected one of the battery leads and kept a battery tender on it when parked.
