I have stayed at a Days Inn around 10 minutes from TWS (Texas World Speedway). I don;t remember the rate but it was something like 70 OTD for a triple room. It was nice, I mean we only used it to sleep.

Hoiday inn express is a good choice. Suites for holiday in are the most bang for the buck. but if you don't want to be impressed get a motel.

That was where I was gonna go but the chick that was behind the counter sounded unsure about the discount and of course Steve wasn't there. So off to Quality Suites I went haha. Next time I will call well in advance if I'm going to get a hotel room to make sure I get it

Thumbs down Hotel Don'ts for TWS (Texas World Speedway)

Do not by any means stay at The Colonial. My 1st time at TWS (Texas World Speedway) we stayed there. We prepaid, got in room, there was feces all over shower curtain, hair, urine on toilet, floor, and bathroom walls. The room was full of old trash, food, the beds looked like the morning after in a honeymoon suite. No towels or toilet paper. A campers nightmare! I'm not gonna get into more details than that, just imagine! The manager nor owner would credit or give us a refund. $100 bucks down the toilet before the weekend even started. A lesson learned! The paddocks at track are Marriot quality, and the people around you there is fun to hang with. That's my home away from home. Good luck. Ricky464
