maybe we can discuss why you think it's true and why I think it's not and maybe we can reach some sort of agreement and make the world a better place

Well, I went down there to help out some family......................they were pretty content to sit there and let someone bring them stuff.
And they had the time, and the means, to get the out BEFORE hit the fan. How many others did the same thing? And then want someone to come help?

for one thing...the chimp picture is what made me think racist. everyone knows it wasn't bush's fault that the hurricane happened. it's his fault he appointed unqualified people to important posts though. and it's those unqualified persons fault that they responded so slowly. and it's the peoples fault for underestimating the storm. everyone gets a piece of the pie.

true in a way i guess but in all honesty it all falls back on them they are the ones that have lived off the goverment there whole lifes and have nothing they are the ones that didnt flee when they had warning too...they are the ones sitting around waiting for hand outs and they are the ones that are to blame..

Well, I do agree with you. The Chimp picture was just plain stupid, and I don't think for one minute anyone down there deserved it. But there were a LOT of people black, white, and other acting fing stiupid down there......I don't feel a bit sorry for THEM. I rolled up to help some people out, shirt tail relatives (poor white trash) after driving all night and they looked at me like I was an idiot. I guess I was :BangHead:

i guess it just comes down to stereotyping. i think there were probably a lot of decent people that got caught up in Katrina, lots of people effected weren't even from New Orleans. The lazy bums waiting for handouts need to be disciplined, but I don't wish death on them. Govt programs just need to stop being so wasteful and find ways to filter out lazy . And that video just furthers my opinion that most racists are conservative, but not necessarily the other way around. I'm surprised some backwoods inbreds like them even managed to get this onto the internet.

I feel sorry for those peeps. I dont wish death and never said anything about death i dont know wher eyou came up with that. If these people where to stupid to get out then shame on them. Im donated money and helped with what i could for what for them to want more and more to kill others to go crazy no im sorry they put them selves in this position.....

when you flood a bunch of gangsters off of their turf and move them to new turf of course there's gonna be some shootings. local news is ALWAYS focused on bad news. it's a nationwide fact. have you seen any stats showing how many katrina evacs have gotten jobs? i doubt it. probably pretty hard to find, buried under a few shooting stories. not saying they all ran out and got jobs, but who knows, maybe they aren't doing as horrible as the news makes them out to be. let google prove me wrong, so long as we're fact finding and not just stereotyping
