It's quite a bit different. The POV.1 was designed for military and police.

It's full 720x480 which is DV resolution. 8 gb capacity with the SD cards. Runs on 4 double A's. I can get more than a day of recording out of a new set of batteries. Small and lightweight. The only challenge on a bike is figuring out how to mount it.

Why not find a way to mount it to say your helmet?

You guys should check out the tachyonic xc. Similar to the pov1 but alot cheaper www.tachyonic.com great camera for the price. slightly larger than the pov1 though

I've mounted it to my helmet a long time ago, of course. It's a HELMET CAM, after all. I don't like the view.

I have a tank mount that installs under the gas cap. It shows the gauges and the view through the windscreen.
