SSR Pitbike???

My neighbor is looking into buying a SSR125 pit bike. I have never been on one so I cant say if it is good or bad. Any thoughts?

i had one and it lasted about 4 months then the kick starter rod stripped out inside the motor. and locktite everything, i mean everything!!!!!!! good little play bike for the most part until you get problems. id take the rolling chassis and put a honda 50 motor with an 88 kit in it. oh and spokes are garbage on those bikes

Thanks for advice. So in terms, he is better off getting a XR/CRF 50.

if you get a ssr get the 150 70 clone one . they are pretty good. but remember you get what you pay for.
