Lawyers Suck!!!

Ok so I had my first court date for my 79mph in a 55 and I learned that lawyers a f***ing useless. Thru motohouston many of you suggested different lawyers for tickets - I used "Paul Kubosh" for $150. On my court date he didn't even turn up!!! I call the office and they are like oh yeah somebody else will call your name out yet all the lawyers there had already ran down there list. But miraculously 5 minutes after my call a lawyer re-appears this time to call my name! She was the best ever looking "Paul" I've seen But still USELESS. You know what she came back with for a speeding ticket...$100 court fees, $200 misc. fees, defensive driving (another$100) 10 HOURS COMMUNITY SERVICE!!!! AND....wait for it...a essay on "why I should not speed" THAT!!! Thats what $150 will buy you with a very feminine looking "Paul Kubosh" I told her to tell the DA to ram it I am going to trial!!! So now I have a resit for March so I'll keep you posted. But just to highlight this story I just got another ticket in Kemah for 60 in 45, failing to signal lane change and failing to stay in a marked lane. I went to the courts office by myself and had ALL 3 deferred for 3 months. Is it just me or WTF!!!

I made a court date to see the judge with trial by jury scheduled in April. I am going to need a lawyer or something as well. Any suggestion?

Flying Scott, it's not a good thing to let your tickets escalate. Trust me bro. It'll hurt you bad in the future, more than a road rash. Even though you paid for your convictions, it will come back and haunt you some day. Too many tickets and they will suspend your license.
It's not good getting your license suspended or revoked.

No smart he sat on the car!!!!! And yes my windows are illegal and they always will be!!! I have been pulled over by DPS and they did not say !!! I have a friend that is a constable and he even said that it is chicken ticket and that kemah is a police force!!!! Sounds to me you are on the cops side you might be one of them!!!! I just think there are better laws they could be inforcing!!! And if my windows are so bad why does it pass inspection!!!!

chill red chill.....racerx isnt a cop but he should be lol its not his foult you got a ticket. If your windows pass inspection witch is 13% then they are not illigal and the police officer could not right you a ticket....about your friend or whatever i have a very very hard time beliveing that one esspecially since he is still in a parking lot witch is privit property so they cant do anything.....

I have had 23+ tickets and 2 of them are on my record becouase i used a lawyer kenneth bradshaw anything exept houston tickets i dont even have to go to court for he goes and sends me a letter....I always get differed and heck there has been times that i have been on differed and he got me differed agian in the same city. as of right now im not suposed to get any tickets in deerpark,laPorte, houston, south houston or pasadena....not saying this is cool but hey i dont like driving the speed limit so get over it its my pocket book.....

So anyways thats the lawyer i always always use never had a problem....

You are both right!!!! I am just saying that there are other things that are more important then tinted windows thats all!!! And I would not be bragging about that many tickets if you have not learned to slow the down then I do not know what to tell you!!! And if my daddy was paying for my and tickets than I guess I could do it to!!!! I saw that you are 20 yrsw old so that is why you think it is cool to have all those tickets!!! There is no way you can afford all those tickets and attorney fees on your own!!!

well that gets into the whole traffic stop theory, something like 20+% of traffic stops lead to arrest for warrants and whatnot.......so it does serve a purpose.
