All cables are in the walls with Jacks.
Time Warner has informed me that they will need to run the cable from the box to the home.
So I have the home prewired but no active cable leading into the house.

You just need an install! To have hd in every room you have to have a box for every tv!

I don't even have an HD Television (yet)
But plan on getting one soon, yes only ONE.
The rest of the home just needs basic Digital cable *plug and go*

it's only like $4/box so most def. i deleted all the local channels and watch them in HD. amd being i have a square TV vs the newer rectangle shapes tv, i have to watch w/ the black stripes on top/bottom of the screen. but it's still worth it.

i value clear crisp over size. i have a 36" sony XBR, XBR is the upper echelon vs WEGA, my 36" 5-6yrs ago was $2800-3000.

i want the new stuff, but it's hard to get that clarity from larger TVs or pay the big $ , $3000-4000 for the new SONY BRAVIA or SXRD technology

btw, my 36"tv is like 400lbs.......a bish to move.

i used to work for time warner. they way they do things is jacked up. here is my BEST advice for dealing with TWC...DONT CALL THEM. go into one of their little offices. the people they have working their can do just about everything the call center can (except technical support). you can even pickup whatever kind of box you need there, and just install it at home yourself...

here is another tip for them, though it might not apply to this situation. TWC has a "custom charge" of like 30 bucks for each additional room you want installed. they also have a "protection plan" for $2 a month which makes you exempt from having to pay any additional install charges...

i would ask about it (at the office, not on the phone) cause its worth it to get it, if you know your going to need extra rooms.

i pay twc 30 a month for my internet...and my neighbor pays half of that cause i let him use my wireless. somehow i get 80 cable TV channels for free...score!
