I dont know your skill level or riding history.And because your considering upgrading your brakes for more power. I can only assume your plan of using the rear brake in an oh moment will lead to that moment getting a little worse.

I guess if you have them, might as well install them.
Or you could just sell them

Anyways, you don't need your rear brake ON the track.
If you run off the course, obviously, you need to use it.
That being said, I've used my rear brake a few times @ the track
