You can get the 08 cowhide titanium version, for 699.99. The Kangaroo magnesium, "retails", for about twice that. The Bayless replica, a bit more.

I did not spend 1400.00. Furthermore, what I spent...does it matter?

if it fits great and is as good of quality as i've heard the ness suits are... what would be the need to go custom.. unless you want a specific look, th eonly real advantage to custom is the fit... so it if fits off the shelf... why bother waiting forever for a custom

That's an awesome suit design. It is top notch in protection similar to the A* replicas'. I like the color and design but skeptical about my sizing.

I might have to do customs but don't want to wait 6+ weeks. I have tried many different suits/brand and haven't found anything. I might have to do one after Hallett. We'll see.

You could always get it a size big and have it alterred down if needed. Don't know how much that costs though.

Thought about that but it will cost as much as the custom. I am short and husky.

Wore the suit today at ECR. Mobility is superb. Zero break in. Fitment is great. a+++ in all those categories. We shall see about that "other" category, hopefully not anytime soon.

I am jealous. I am sure you have nothing to worry about in the "other category".
