Couple Observations by me (forgive me if I'm wrong...)

- Prior to this round the Lap Record was a 43.930 seconds by Fat Guy Racing @ 40.974 mph (10/11/08). The rider was Derek Wagnon.

This Lap Record was broken over "Fifteen" times by HiZoot Racing on Saturday by Derek Wagnon.

The New Lap Record for Denton now is "officially" 43.545 seconds! It was on Bridgestone GP Slicks.

- In the last 3 years, this was the first time a team setup with 17 inch wheels defeated the teams with the 12 inch wheel setups @ TMGP designated tracks (does not include CMRA's OHR/Cresson).

- In the last 3 years, this was the first time a GP Bike has finished 1st in a class dominated by motards. JSK Racing (onboard NSR50) beat the likes of SIKK100 (2006-2007-2008 Champions of F7E) as well as Clutch Racing (which has got some of the fastest F7 riders for this year). In the previous years motards (Honda's CR/CRF setup with 17s have always dominated F7E).

- SIKK100 never lost a race @ Denton in 2008, uptill this past weekend.

- knows how much money Ninja CHP, Not as Fat Guy Racing, No Comment, BiPolar Racing have invested in their bikes. Still all failed to stop the rider/bike combination of Derek Wagnon/HiZoot Racing (CR75/Ride Smart)!

- Really goes to show you Rider Skill is greater then Money spent on bike...

- First time ever a Rider has been BLACK flagged three laps continuously, before realizing he needs to F@cking pit in. Courtesy of Dean Dufrene.

- Tim/Wes (BiPolar Racing), you all never got the bike to go 40 mph even with teh 75cc kit!? Looks like someone has some money/time spending to do...

- 2nd time in a row Moe did not get BiPolar slapped... lol

- Hope you all enjoyed it... now I gotta go do some research on how to get the bike to go faster...

Moe,
Someone should have taped the dang thang! plus I was recovering from my first crash of the day b/c no one knew what tire pressures to run. heck I still don't. But I know 12 PSI was incorrect.

Can someone tell me for future reference, (like John since he's the bridgestone guy) what kind of pressures should be ran on those tires 125 gp slicks I believe

...that's my 50.724 lap time Carlos....but Gianni was more consistent with the faster times! That boy is a monster! He was very consistent with the hight50-51 second lap times. I was the reason for our average lap time of 54s.

I just think the 4 teams in front of us were just way faster that day.

I actually posted very slow times for my first hour stint (crashed twice too!). But my lap times significantly dropped during my second stint.

If I have to make up an explanation, I will say it was due to the fact that I was not used to the bike...which is actually true. And the body position is different, my triceps are killing me still!

Anyhow bro, you have a lot to look forward to when you get on that bike next! Capafool says it's got a lot more now.

edit...actually, I will blame my slower lap times during my first stint on my leathers not being zipped up causing extra drag.

yes! that's it.

(i still don't know how that went unnoticed. I was looking at pics and wondering why my astar logo wasn't continuous, then i saw my t-shirt in the next pic)

18-19. The goal is when you come off, hot temp should be 22s.

You did good though. 53s your first time out there.

Your reading it wrong.

The first paragraph pertains to F5.

Where for the first time a F5 team with 17s beat the whole field sitting on 12s.

The second paragraph pertains to F7E.

Where for the first time a team on a GP bike (NSR50) beat the field sitting on motards.

And you guys dominated F7N - where as you guys should have been in F7E.

But that's a whole different argument, rest up, heal up, take a nice break - come back next year in F5 and we shall dance .

I know but we started off in F7N soo... we finished F7N, with more points than anyone in F7N / E and a couple F6's I think. Not bad for a year and a half rider. Numbers are numbers. It was still a heella lotta fun except almost crashing F5's that were slow in the corners and fast only in the straights.

P.S. I'll return with an F5er. F7 was pretty easy overall.

Other freakin priorities....

Off the top of my head, I think I had the best results with 17f/20r. That was at Katy, so not sure about Denton. I would have to check my set up notes when I get home, but I think that is what I remember. It was on a kx85.

Can a mod please EDIT post # 2.

I said the previous lap record was held by Phillip Fisher. I was wrong, the previous lap record was ALSO by Derek Wagnon. He just broke it again this year.

Sorry for the confusion!

Oh don't be mistaken there Sloe, we have plenty of motor. I didn't take into account the gearing change needed by adding the big bore kit. We couldn't even top out 5th, so we were way off.

From what I have witnessed, you got a 1 man team with Damon

But the slappins, they are a coming

Damon is nothing with out me... and I'm nothing with out Damon. We're a team and we're only as strong as our weakest link .

Here's some data for you to ponder over while you keep calling me "Sloe" and try to catch up to "Slap me"...

No Comment (#41)
Damon's Stint:
53 minutes
Average of - 45.59
Fastest Laptime of Stint - 44.72

Moe's Stint:
53 minutes
Average of - 49.96
Fastest Laptime of Stint - 48.26

To Compare - BiPolar Racing (#165)

1st Stint:
33.2 minutes
Average of - 49.81
Fastest Laptime of Stint - 48.40

2nd Stint:
32.8 minutes
Average of - 50.56
Fastest Laptime of Stint - 48.88

3rd Stint:
35.8 minutes
Average of 47.84
Fastest Laptime of Stint - 46.70

You still think its a 1 man team? If you do - hopefully I'll prove you wrong @ Katy...

No hard feelings, just playing with you
