Tire installer in SW Houston?

Anyone know a reputable tire changer/installer in the SW part of Houston? I have a new set coming in and need to swap them out. The reason I am asking is because my plan is to drive to the shop and drop off the tires, run home and then ride there on the bike.
I would use Javi but he's on hiatus. He's super close to me..

Don't know a shop. If you buy 'em at CG, they'll mount 'em for free (with wheels off the bike).

But re: the two trips: you could pull the wheels off and carry them along with the tires. Or you could do like I used to do when I had others change the tires for me: I wore the tire like a barrel around my midsection, sat on the bike, and tooled off down the road. I'm sure I looked funny, but since I didn't have a car, it turned out to be a pretty convenient way to carry tires.

And if you have an unplanned get-off, you have an extra bumper! :-)

I would take my wheels off and just drop them off but I don't have any stands.

HaHa! CG doesn't mount for free. They balance them for FREE. If you want them mounted at CycleGear it's $30.00 per tire. Goodluck!

I know.. According to his section on this forum he is not currently doing any work. I tried PM'ing him but no dice on a reply.

Edit to say.. He's doing limited work. I guess I could call him up when UPS drops off my tires.

AFAIK cycle gear charges $20 per wheel to mount and balance, purchased or not.
