I have a suomy spec 1r extreme, spec 1r, Shoei RF1000 and an Arai Quantum f. The Arai is BY FAR the quietest of them all.

My soumys are loud as and nothing I can do about it. I would imagine this is your issue. Nothing you can do about it. Unless it is too big.

Good, solid, quiet helmets cost money man.

I wear my scorpion daily and have had slight issues with the wind. Pull the front of the helmet a little lower...works for me.

I never had a problem like that with my scorpion and icon but I think the icon is much quieter.

My scorpion is very loud, and no matter what I do there is wind blowing from a vent right into my eyes. I am really thinking about ducktaping where ever I can!

I have no problems with my scorpion, EXO700... There's good airflow when I want to stay cool. The little skirt thingy helps a lot. I used it right after I got LASIK, because I was allowed to have absolutely nothing interfering with my eyes.

pull the front of the helmet down over ur chin more, mine used to do that until i figured that out.

as far as wind buffeting noise, scorpions are the quietest ive worn

my suomy being the worst

Thanks for all the feedback.

I think that Scorpion Areo skirt will do the trick. I never had an issue with wind in the helmut when I had my FZR....with the "wierd" fairing on my Paul Smart it must be pushing wind up under my chin because I borrowed my wifes helmut the other night that had an "Aero like skirt" and had no problem.

Thanks yall!

the skirt can be picked up at CG or Motorcycles Unlimited; any manufactorer one should be able to fit between the foam and the helmet. Mine was off a Shoie.

They do breathe alot more then most; the vents that blow onto the screen are the ones that cannot be closed. But they also help eliminate the fogging along w the lense that makes scorpion so popular.
