Finally Ready For The Track!!

So today I went to cycle gear to try on some suits and boots and such.. not really looking to buy. I was going to wait about a week till I got some more cash around.. So I went in there and noticed there 599.99 special for Frank Thomas Suit,Boots,Gloves. Not a bad deal at all. So I tried on the XTI Suit and thought it fit great just a size to big. So I tried on an alpinestar in a 42 and bingo fit great. So luckily the area director was in there helping me out. I was trying to find out how long the special was going on and maybe pop in there this weekend to purchase something. He handed me a couple coupons for manager specials. And it said 100 bucks off alpinestar or dianese suits. So he said that goes for all of our suits even the special you are looking at. I told him that would be great but you dont have the colors or sizes I want. He said let me order them for you guaranteed fit or we will return them and get you exactly what you need. So for 499.99 plus tax 541.24 and all he needed was a deposit it could of been anything but the manager special was only good through tomorrow, so I put half down and have till whenever to pay for the rest.So I ordered boots gloves and suit from them. Im really excited and figured I couldnt pass it up. the gloves felt great the suit looked really nice to bad they didnt have the boots there but I tried on a couple other frank thomas boots to get the sizing. So here is a picture of all the goods. Now ready to sign up for the track day probably shooting for memerial day at TWS (Texas World Speedway).

Let me know what you think playas

yeah im pumped.. and as far as frank thomas yes I haev read mixed reviews but with every suit for that matter. from teknic to fieldsheer to the recent kobe thread on here all the way to komodo and dianese.. So I roll the dice the bottom line is the most important I didnt get cheap on is my helmet.. and im planning on getting a nice back protector soon. We shall see but as far as manufacture defects I heard from several board members mostly ryan or pyrofallout that cyclegear stands behind this gear 100 percent if I had any zipper or seam problems...

Very true.

Good job on the gear, you'll be fine.
Take it easy, ride your own pace and ask questions (of the instuctors... ignore EVERYBODY else).

Thanks im looking forward to it.. during the fayetteville ride I loved riding with adam and curt. they were more than helpful when setting up for corners and feet positioning. I cant wait to learn and finally ride the sv that has been sitting in my garage for a month before I can even ride it.. you can only go up and down your street so many times hahaha

yeah but im glad the sv has a 160 rear it saves a little on the pocket. the 190 on the r1 eats me up.. but john on here has great prices on tires and I can do 300 mounted every month or 2
