I spoke with the officer right before the chit hit the fan about what was happening.

The security guard was being especially rude to bikers that night which was causing them to act out even more. When I spoke with the cop I made mention that the only person that could throw us out was the actual owner of the realestate there and that is when he looked at me and said he was already here and then headed over to the container store and stood next to a guy. I assumed that was him.

Next thing we know the ghetto bird showed up.

Evidently the owner of the property got his confirmation of the complaints he had been receiving and shut it down.

New PP1 FTW. Those dooshbagg owners of PP1 just don't understand that without bikes, chicks, and alternative college kids hanging out they are just another gay Starbucks. If there is no one to see you act cool, there is no reason to go there to act cool, and then it's just not cool anymore. Here's some examples from where I've ridden / hung out / posed over the years.

Cruising Westheimer inside the loop - gone
Cruising Richmond Strip - gone
Stunting on Westpark - gone
Shepherd Square - gone
JCI Westheimer - gone
KMart on Westheimer - gone
Racing on Holmes - gone
Racing near Rankin - gone, I think

Another PP1 will spring up and PP1 SB will prolly never be the same, business-wise. That crappy Hickory House in the Heights, which caters to bikers and cagers in clubs, is still goig strong after all these years. Why? They embrace the moto culture and know guys with $5k-$30k for a disposable toy can afford a 2 meat tray and a coke.

No they cant. Businesses are not just private property - they are open to the public for legitimate business. They can no more turn you away because you ride a bike than because you're black.

In addition, the entire property is not under the control of Starbucks. There are other businesses.

I'm calling bullshit.

The people causing the disturbance can be banned, but you cannot simply tell anyone on a bike to get lost.

Dido. Just fork over the $2 for a regular coffee and carry it with you wherever you go. I was there Wednesday night and the police officer didn't say to me. PP1 is like central to everything and everyone and all of the usual night routes in Houston, nowhere else would really be the same.

All the douche bags revving their motors and banging them off the rev limiter fucked it up for everybody. Idiots.

lines almost out the door with bikers whenever i go there. the bikers attract curb monkeys who also buy coffee. nothing but good things for starbucks.

but i think a few dumb ruin it for everyone with their wanna be a speed racer, gangsta, attention ways.

I wouldn't allow bikes, either (considering the typical PP1 biker).
