Need Help with my 06 R6

I know this may sound stupid, but I just bought a used R6 and the steering is off center. Can I loosen the top bolt on the triple tree and readjust it, or should I just take it to the shop. Or does anyone know how to readjust the steering back to center?.

Thanks

If you have stock clip ons (which you probebly do) there's a groove in them not allowing them to move. Possibly Meaning there either bent or your forks or triples are bent.

Take it to Motorcycles Unlimited

Has the bike been wrecked?
The lower triple may be bent, a pretty common occurrence on R6's.
Another possibility is just a bent clip on.
If you get a chance, bring it by and we'll look at it.

to be honest with you, I've had like 4 people off this site recommend you, but your shop is so far away, and I truly don't have the the availability of a truck to bring it to you.

Its not a bicycle were you can hold the front tire with your legs and turn the bars were you want... Make time to take it to Motorcycles Unlimited or grand prix on richmond.
