Pirelli Diablo???

Anyone run them? I went by CG and they have a sale on them and i need an extra set of tires for commuting. They have front and rear 120/70-17 180/55-17 for $189.98 is that a good price?

Talk to John at SCRC. He can get you those for a darn good price, and even offer free mounting.

I would recommend the DCIII's however

Just FYI, the ones CG have on sale are the old Diablos. They have to be close to 3 years old by now. They are giving them away for a reason. The new Diablo Corsa III's offer a better carcass construction and dual compound front & rear.

agreed I had the original diablos on my old gsxr 600.... very horrible tire and took along time on the street to warm up... I was coming out of a u turn under an over pass and rolled on the throttle... back tire slipped up luckily I caught it but ever since then I will never ride a pirelli again... Ill stick with the michelin man or Im really considering bridgestones lately... I have pilot 2ct's on my R1 for the street and Michelin Power Race on the track bike

i'm tired of sounding redundant, but you get what you pay for. there's a reason why they're giving the tires away at almost half price of what the new pirellis are going for. if you're looking for a very good track/daily tire, check into the bridgestone bt002rs.
