The 209's gave me some issues when switching from the 211's, but a couple of suspension tweaks have them mostly sorted out after one day of experimentation. There is a noticeable difference between the 209's and 211's (the 211's being better), but I think for the price difference (~$100 a set) it's worth running on the 209's.
LOL I know what Ty runs, I meant from other forums that I've browsed through. The people that are new to that tire say the same things, but with a bit of tweaking on the bike, I'm sure they run well. Pretty sure Gonzo rode w/the same tire late last season, and he seemed to do okay

IF you have tried geometry changes including rear ride hight, you may want to look at your LoFT. That causes lots of folks problems and they never even realize.

Ty doesn't run the GP-A's. The only times he has run them was to test them. He runs 211's and NTEC slicks at any club race... why would he choose to run a crappier tire when he is chasing money? C'mon people... and look at an picture of him, the tread is CLEARLY a 211.

fact is. buck was spanking jerrans on his 600 and stuffing jerrans literbike into the diamonds edge. after a few laps of this jerrans tried to close the door and brake later, pannicked and locked the front and tucked.
nobody crashes because of the tires or their suspension! they crashed because they overide the bike, tires, track, and lack of skill to go that fast.
sorry jerran, u were riding over your head. but thats not bad. thats why youre getting faster. youre pushing it. it was a good crash and now you know how hard you can push the front.

You weren't even there d-bag!

And I most certainly wasn't riding over my head...5-6secs off my best and 2-3secs off my lap-after-lap usual pace.

I still love you though...
