mladin is scared to join Moto GP b/c he dominates the AMA at this point. why leave a dominating league to join another in which he wont be superior any longer. Mladin wouldnt stand a chance against half of the MOTOGP guys. I think D. Pedrosa and C. Stoner would give Matt a good run for his money.

Go to the AMA & the MotoGP sites and look at the times from the laguna seca races, and you'll see the diffence in lap times.

Mladin - 1:25:71 fastest lap in the 2005 Superbike race
Colin Edwards - 1:23:90 fastest lap in the 2005 Moto GP

Not that much of a lap time difference considering the differences between the power of the bikes...

This has nothing to with the Rossi/Mladin debate, though. Just shows how much money and technology it takes to gain 1 or 2 more sec. on a lap...

besides the times, rossi wasn't running at full pace b/c he didnt know the track. Mladin on the other hand does know the track. so take that into consideration.
