MP3 help torrents/file sharing

I was wondering what file sharing programs you guys are using to download music? I have used limewire in the past, and i like it, but i hear torrents are better and less chance of virus' with torrents. Anyone car to tell me what you like and educate me about torrents or a sight i can download torrents from? I would really appreciate any info you guys/gals have to offer. Thanks for looking. :notworthy

Soundwaves has a nice selection of music. You can get a pair of shoes while you are there as well.

Thanks moody, that was so helpful. FYI, All of the music on my MP3 player is straight from my cd's. It's those random songs i don't want to buy a cd for that i want. Since you are so helpful, you could at least point out a decent sight i could buy music from that does not delete my songs when the subscription expires. Once again, thanks for the help, i guess?!?!

torrentspy.com
thepiratebay.org
supernova and mininova.org
seedler.org all for torrents
i also use DC++ occasionally and maybe soulseek. doesn't hurt to have a wide variety of download progz for hard to find files.
