Thanks to Cali and everyone who volunteered to make this ride possible and help it go as smooth as it did. It was amazing being towards the back and seeing the long line of bikes in the front as they went over hills. Coach Dave would have been proud and honored.

yeah theres a little guilty feeling inside. i can remember looking at matt like what do i do? i felt so helpless. setfast and flip and zorn were there with him helping as they could. i could hear coach moan like it hurt. i did'nt wanna be in the way so i directed traffic. i may still be a little in denial ofmy own guilt and sadness. in andreas thread for her forest ride when her bike was in the shop i thought about leading a group to TWS (Texas World Speedway). i said i did'nt want to lead some newbs through the forest. coach chimed in and said to me " just lead puss" lol. coach was an inspiration. maybe i'll start leading some newbs when i'm needed. lol.
i get the diet citrus green tea in anderson now. the day coach died we were at shell in anderson. i asked him to buy me a drink. i grabbed the regular lemon tea. he told me i should get the diet green tea. later after his wreck i got the diet green tea. it was good. imagine that.

Great time yesterday, guys.

I have video of the while group riding past the crash site. I need to stop and get a USB cable so I can upload it. I tried to count the bikes in it and gove you a count, but I was too tired last night.

Thanks to all the organizers, Evo for lending me the bike, Wayne for the rescue and ride back to the car, Thomas for hanging out with me while I was awaiting rescue (aka getting sunburn), and everyone for the great company.

Chase... pulling over for that cop did not live up to your screen name.....>FAIL!

j/k

Nice meeting you and others out there!!

It's all cool man. Too bad I didn't have the 9mm with me, we could have put the bike out of it's misery.......

Had fun riding w/everyone. I didn't make it to Yankee's as me and my small group stopped just before and headed back.

It was great to see so much support on a memorial ride, and +100 on it being well organized.

it was great to be a part of the ride for CoachDave and it was nice to such a great turn out. many thanks to all of those who organized the ride and to those who had the stickers and t-shirts printed. i could tell his family was really touched by all of the efforts and thoughts from everyone.

i am extremely proud to be a part of such a good group of people; thanks Jim and Kelly for allowing me to borrow the Hyosung so that i could participate in the ride

Anyway, I blame it on Ken "Guitarman" for taking off and leaving the noob (me) behind. I tried to play catchup and came over that hill at 83 mph and Ken, and Brandi (Squoddy) are tapping the tops of their lids even though me and Flip were already over the hill and Mr. DPS waves them on and points to me and Flip to pull over. LOL. Its all good though.

It was my first group ride, first forest ride and I had a great time honoring CoachDave (even tho I never met the man).

My thanks to all of MH riders I met and to our group of 7 (led by Guitarman and followed up by Meaner-n-You) for getting us back from Yankees.

Thanks also to everyone involved in organizing the ride and the massive support to pull it off. Bravo!

I look forward to the next ride
LOL!!!!! Who me? I was only doing about 70 when I first saw him (and I was looking by the way). I was going slow through the straights to let you guys catch up. Me and Ty were pushing it through the corners and having fun. Sorry it was you and Rob that were singled out. Glad it was only warnings. I was thinking when I saw him and he put on his lights and started pulling out, "If he tries to tell me that I was doing 80 or 90 I'm calling his bluff." I would have asked him to see the display on his radar.

It was good meeting you Joe. It's nice to know that there is another FZ6 out there and to be able to ride with one, which is a rare treat. Theres not too many FZ's out there. They don't make too many of them. Good choice on your first bike.
