i've never ridden in temperatures below 40

why?... b/c i fricken hate cold weather...

nonetheless... despite it being a sub freezing 26 w/icy conditions in the morning, the races were not cancelled... so i got on my sv, gridded up for my race and proverbally 'parked it' around oakhill in 3rd gear...

there were three crashes in that race, but i was not one of them... (one down, one to go)... mission accomplished...

ty displayed once yet again that he might just be part alien as he pretty much left the field standing in each race...

mad props to jeff, brandon, ronnie and luke for wicking it up once temperatures reached a more balmy 34...

Good weekend despite not feeling my hands after five laps. Gave "cool down lap" a whole new meaning. Got 4 of 5 hole shots, Heller had to jump to beat me to T1 on the last one. Managed to lead all five races to at least the half way point. 3 for 5 on the podium, and great time. Vision was the biggest hurdle of the day. Once I figured out how to keep my visor clear it was on. Be lloking for a kid named Danny Kessley, he's blazing fast!!! Ran me down in every race we ran together. Well done to all who attended, you are racers in the truest sense.

I like riding in the cold better than hot weather if I have the right equipment...but just commuting or going around town, not sport riding. I rode into work today and my michelin street tires were not liking the cold pavement at all, I could feel the pilot powers giving way on even moderate corners..

plus my sport gloves are for hot weather, I tried them yesterday on a test ride after some maintenance and my hands froze within the first mile even with glove liners, so I had to go home and switch to my (but warm) icon gloves. I cant imagine running at track day speeds on the pilots with my summer track gloves! kudos to those who went out there, I'll see you in March .

When you first get your race license, you are considered a "provisional novice" until you complete two consecutive race weeks(and cornerwork two events). After that, you don't have to wear the yellow jersey, and are a novice(AM) racer.

it sounded like henry only wanted two race twice this year to get the jersey off.
