Anyone want to lend me a bike cam for this weekend???

I hate to ask because I know it can be an expensive piece of equipment... but anyone willing to lend me a bikecam for this weekend?

I'll be at MSR Saturday with RideSmart, but I'm also getting the chance to ride in a private session with Buck and some others on Sunday, and I would love to get a vid of me riding either or both of those days to play over and over while I'm in Spain

Anyhow, let me know if you are generous enough to let a little guy borrow yo camera

pretty much, it was tough to swallow at first, but it's only $250 down the drain...not the first, and certainly won't be the last.

junk. i may have gotten a deffective one, but the picture quality is rubbish, and it shuts itself off after 10 minutes of ride time. cut out some really good riding in colorado.

summary: Go Pro= CRAPTASTIC!

well in all fairness ive heard that others have had better results. so i may have received a deffective unit. and i might have a little bit higher standards. i really hate crappy video. i have a handy cam that im trying to build a mount for. that should provide a better, more reliable picture.

I definitely feel you on the crappy video thing, I would rather not have a vid of myself than have a quality vid like some of the ones I've seen on the net.

I guess we'll see what happens

it all depends on how well you mount it up. i have got some good videos and I have gotten some crappy videos. just gotta take into consideration mounting locations/vibration/ect as all that will affect the quality of video. but for the price the gopro is good with video and has alot of mounting options and is pretty durable, not to mention waterproof.

I've heard of several people having this problem with it shutting off after a few minutes. All of them have since started using the batteries that it requires, the Lithium or NiCd(sp?) and it fixed the problem.

read the instructions, there is a setting to auto shut-off at different time intervals.

pic quality isnt bad for computer screen. on my 52" at home its super pixelated, but thats because its native resolution is 512x384
