I always found it interesting that you can get your motorcycle license before your "regular" motor vehicle license. It's cool, though.

Welcome young one, you live in my neck of the woods.
You plan on getting into any racing in the future like your pops?

Yeah I'd like to get into it, but main thing thats holdin me back is the money for tires, bike, leathers and all that fun stuff.

Im trying to get ahold of my dad's old Ride Smart 250 2 stroke and get some track time on it. But the guy who bought it from him wont let go of it :eh:

Motorcycles Unlimited - 281-444-0903, they rent everything, all you need is a bike.
I read somewhere that they were gonna start ninja 250 class racing in CMRA.
Might be another option for you to get your feet wet with racing. I'd start with a few track days to see how you like it. (You will)

They do it all-leathers, gloves, boots. You just gotta supply yourself, helmet, and bike.

Hmm I'll keep it in mind, but my wee little 250 is my main mode of transportation. But if i can find another 250 i can trash, I'll definately try it out. I have a natural talent to be able to road race, ive taken 1 lap around TWS (Texas World Speedway) when i was like 11, and apparently i impressed a few people.
