I was just wondering if anybody else tryed this, I'll be doing it to my gsxr soon to test it out on the track.
watch out with the mod....if not done correctly....you WILL go for broke again

i've seen people go down from faulty steering dampers that were modded, and people who simply couldn't ride their bike because of the mod. both were in the end forced to buy a aftermarket steering damper because of comfort or confidence.

Hooli, why do you think it's gonna be $500 for a new damper?

I need to hook you up with my parts guy.

did a similar mod on the stock ohlins on my zx-10......was .....no air bubbles in it or anything, stock dampers just don't have the correct valving to be truly track-effective....my scotts however, is the !
